Article I  The part of the Constitution that describes the legislative branch of the government.

bill  A proposed law given to the legislature for approval.

Congress  The national legislature of the United States. Congress has two houses: the Senate and the House of Representatives.

unconstitutional  Not allowed by the U.S. Constitution; illegal.

veto  The power of the president to refuse to approve a bill passed by Congress.
