National Showcases
State programs from around the country submit an exemplary student portfolio for evaluation at the Project Citizen National Showcase each year. The portfolios represent work done by students and youth organization participants to analyze local issues within their school, community, or state and present public policy solutions to address their selected problem. Members of state legislatures, legislative staff, and educators serve as evaluators for the showcase. Achievement-level results are based on the average score of three rounds of portfolio evaluation.
State Showcases

The Project Citizen program is implemented through a network of coordinators across the nation. State coordinators have access to a variety of resources to assist with Project Citizen professional development, textbook distribution, and general program administration.
